Circular Timber Greenhouse™ Wins Dairei Industrial Award at Trans-Disciplinary Forum Aichi 2026

At the Trans-Disciplinary Forum Aichi 2026, organized by Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. and held on January 15, 2026 at STATION Ai in Nagoya, a proposal utilizing XENCE's modular Circular Timber Greenhouse™ received the Dairei Industrial Award.

The forum, themed "Do more crossovers — to the furthest point of boundary-crossing," brought together over 200 participants including researchers, ventures, large corporations, and local governments. XENCE participated in the Knowledge Manufacturing Ignition program, presenting on the theme of "Utilizing Factory Waste Heat for Agriculture via XENCE's Circular Timber Greenhouse."

The proposal was highly rated as a response to the theme set by Dairei Industrial Co., Ltd., "capturing, transferring, recovering, and reusing heat and humidity that accumulate within factories," and received the award.

XENCE will continue to advance initiatives that connect architecture with forestry and agriculture from a circular economy perspective.
